Our Story
When our son was diagnosed with autism at two, our lives were forever changed. We had no idea what to do, where to go, or what the future held. There were sleepless nights, a plethora of Google searches, endless "no's", trials and errors, and a lot of stress - all in an attempt to simply do what any parent would do, give their child the best life possible.
We felt lost in the beginning. We had to gradually rewire our idea of what life would be like, for all of us, while realizing his success was truly up to us. There were no "next steps", no "beginners guide", no "how to" manual. Just us and our unwillingness to throw in the towel.
The fight was tough, lonely, and real, but we decided to fight harder.
As time went on, we felt that the Lord was leading us to use our own journey to help other families with children like our own. Not that we are experts, not that we have the answers to it all... But one thing we do know is the fight continues on and we are only just getting started.
Our mission is simple:
To help families navigate the journey of an autism diagnosis, so children, like our own, can thrive.
The Boy Who Started It All
Our Vision
To create a change in society that allows our children to be seen as valuable, contributing members by all. Where they co-exist in a lens beyond just that of their diagnosis.
To give families help and hope. This journey does not have to be walked alone, and your child's diagnosis is not the end of the road. There are so many beautiful blessings to be found when you know where to look.
To see our grant program to reach families across the state of Georgia. Having access to necessary services and equipment, at no cost, can truly be life changing with an autism diagnosis.
To build a community that feels like home.
